Enter the A Muse a Palooza Drawing!

"AP" for short, because you can only type that word one time in a sitting! During our AP celebration bring in a card made with stamps from AMuse and you will be entered into the drawing for the awesome AP Grand Prize.  Cards must hand made using AMuse stamps.  We will randomly select the winner (i.e. not judge the "best" card, we want this to be fun!)

Have you tried the new Spica Glitter Pen colors?  Really fun, especially when used with Copic Markers.  I used Lipstick Spica to highlight the flower after I colored it with R37 Carmine.  I used Black Diamond Stickles for the flower center.

A little more Joey

I created this card to send Joey's photo to some of our relatives who live far away.  I dusted off my ol' Notch Tool from Basic Grey and created little slits to slide the photo corners into, and the photo can easily be removed from the card!  It's hard to see, but the giraffe stamp coordinates perfectly with the little giraffe that's on the pocket of his cutest little button down.

Tip, to color the giraffe stamp I used colored pencil and Copic.  The pencil gave me a light all over color and the Copic was perfect for filling in the spots on the giraffe to make them stand out more.

Flowered Thank You

Here's a super quick one using the Black & White Flower stamp from Hero and LuLu Lavender Memento ink.  I am not usually a purple person, but this really appealed to me.

This is one of those classic stamps that are great to have in your collection.  Works for so many things, thank you, manly birthday cards, even sympathy.  And stamps so quickly with Momento inks.

Quick Summer Tag

Joey and I had a lunch date yesterday at our friend's house and we brought along some homemade chocolate chip cookies.  I added a this fun summer tag to dress them up.  The stamps are from the Rubber Soul clear set for summer.  We have had it for a few years, but it's one of those I find myself reaching for each summer.  Very fun and easy images and sayings too. And this Sarsaparilla paper from Lime Rickey is so perfect too!

We are thrilled to be a part of the 4th annual A*Muse*A*Palooza, a stamp extravaganza featuring the new holiday release from AMuse!  The fun begins on July 10th, and we will be posting our events as we get closer.

Among the most exciting things, if you have not heard, our very own Cheiron is now among the certified AMuse instructors.  Check out her blog and check out AMuse's blog.  Her pic is the first one on the secret squares contest!  Cheiron will a part of our celebration!  yay!

Coloring is therapy

Seriously, take a bad day, add some coloring therapy, and suddenly your trouble melt away as you fill in the colors.  So I will call this one my coloring therapy card kit.  Grab you trusty Copics and color your bad day away!

Summer Fruits!

I love making cards in sets.  I love little cards.  So of course I love this set of little cards!  Using the  "Designer Fruits" and "Thank You Sayings" clear set from Hero Arts, along with some patterned papers from Doodlebug (love the way to fruit patterns coordinated) and new gingham from AMuse.  My friend Christina Cherry needs the cherry card!
