A little bit of fall...

The holidays have descended upon us, but there's still a little time to craft for fall.  We were invited to a friends' house for dinner this weekend.  I brought a little hostess gift, and attached this tag to it.  I love this "Oak Leaf and Acorn" stamp from Memory Box.  I inked it using Momento inks in Rich Cocoa, Potters Clay and Rhubarb Stalk.  Great colors together for fall!L1010516

It also makes a great place card for your fall your Thanksgiving dinners!

New Nestabilities!

L1010513 Finally, some of the newest Nestabilities have arrived!  This one is my favorite, the Labels One set.  We also have the new Labels Two, Labels Small & Large, and the Pinking Circles Large and Small.

And my creation using them.  Also using the Holly Bird and "Merry Christmas" stamps from Memory Box, along with Laurel Leaves patterned paper from the new Basic Grey Wassail collection.  I colored the image with Copics and added some Candy Cane Stickles to the holly berries.L1010514

Another tree stamp to love

This Winter Birds stamp is new from Memory Box, and boy do I love it!  Here are two cards that I made with it in a matter of minutes!  I love how it can be for the holidays, or not (I did my second one as a birthday).

Happy Holidays version, pattern paper is Making Memories Fa la la collection, card Vanilla Bean from Memory Box and the birds are colored with Carmine Copic marker.  I added Xmas Red Stickles as berries on the tree.L1010511

Happy Birthday version, patterned paper is from My Mind's Eye Coastal Authentic, card Vanilla Bean from Memory Box and the birds are colored with Pale Green Copic marker.  I added Cyrstal Stickles on the tree to coordinate with the glittery paper! L1010512

Flourished Snowman

I love this Flourished Snowman stamp.  From Inkadinkado, he comes wood mounted or on one of my favorite clear sets this season.  I love the clear set because it has this great snowflake on it too.  Double Dot paper from BoBunny in Ocean pairs nicely with Oasis Green VersaMagic.  The "Happy Holidays" is from a Hero Clear Design set.  I glittered the flourishes in the snowman's scart with the Quickie Glue Pen and prisma glitter.  And added a little splash of color with Xmas Red Stickles.L1010510

Here's another version...the background (which may not photograph well) was created with Silver Bells Glimmer Mist.  Another favorite of the season (Silver Bells Glimmer Mist, that is).

new from AMuse

We have the latest clear sets from AMuse, the Cupake set and the Baking set!  Good fun, especially if you could use a little break from the holidays (already?)  L1010497

The baking set is great for making tags to attach to your baked goods>  The stand mixer is my favorite!  This is in tribute to mine, I adore it...

thanks to some customer inspiration (Chris K.), Threading Water punch with ribbon woven through the holes.  So fancy, yet so simple!  I tied the bow and attached separately (working smarter not harder).  Love the Bo Bunny Double Dot Chiffon Dot for the stamping,  and Candy Cane Stickles for some sparkly accent!L1010485

a few days have slipped by

gee, it's already Wed.  Where have I been/what have I been doing the past few days??  Well, not that I can take any credit for this, but please check here to see Jessica's amazing work in Baby Switty's new room!

A quick visit to my favorite knitting store, where I picked up the pattern for these cutest slippers, and now totally addicted to knitting them up.  Ummm, you may not be familiar with my ankles, but I assure you, those are swollen.  loving these slippers ...L1010484

Here's a cute, quick card using some Savvy Stamps.  This "Merry Christmas" is one of my favorites from them.  The snowman in the trees is from their WinterWonderland wood mounted set.  Really cute guys in this set.  Patterned paper from Basic Grey new Wassail collection (btw, going fast...)  It may not show up well in the photo, but I used white pearl glitter on the trees to make a little snow.  L1010483

Happy Halloween!

That brings us to a close of this year's Halloween season.  Hard to believe, since I've been stamping Halloween since August! So how ironic that on Halloween, I have nothing Halloweenish to post?

Ah, our shipment of Copics arrived this week.  While we still have a few empty slots in our display, it's looking pretty full and happy for now!  Just opening the box made us happy!L1010480

We also received Basic Grey's holiday collection this week, Wassail.  Get it while it's hot!  We are especially loving the clear ornament stamp set from them (good ornament stamps are hard to find!)

And lastly, I love this card!  Nice, yet simple stamping, Vintage print card from AMuse, the gorgeous deep red ribbon tied in a simple knot at the top, and last, but certainly not least, the new Glitz Stickles in Champagne for the star.  We have two new lines of Stickles from Ranger.  Glitz, extra glittery *yay* and Distress, not so glittery, but still so cool for those vintage type papers.

Reindeer Games

That's the name of this gorgeous paper from the new "Oh Joy" collection from Cosmo Cricket.

I love gable boxes for holiday gift giving.  They are great for small gifts (scarves are one of my favorites to give in them), and even great for baked goods.  Quick and easy to make, and if you cut you 12x12 paper 4 inches wide, one sheet makes a nice thick border around the box!   I made this box using one sheet of patterned paper and one sheet of solid.L1010477

This is how Cosmo Cricket lets you know that their paper is double sided.  Cracks me up...L1010479

Snow Business!

After today's weather, this card & tag seem totally appropriate!  Stamps are from the same "Christmas Characters" clear set from Inkadinkado that I used on last night's projects.  I love light blue and red as alternative holiday/winter colors!

The scallop square for the tag was cut from BoBunny Double Dot in Powder Blue with a Nestabilities die.  For the snowflake background, I used Momento ink in Summer Sky.  Card is from Memory Box, Blue Poppy.  Coloring done with pencils and glittering done with Quickie Glue Pen and prisma glitter.
